Meet Kristel

Kristel created Unhaltered Hope following her EAL Facilitator certification in June of 2021. As a child growing up in Belgium, she was always drawn to horses but never had the opportunity to pursue any horse-related activities.
During her recent cancer journey and treatments, she felt a strong desire to connect with horses, whether it was through riding lessons, equine therapy, or even chance encounters on the side of the road.
Horses grounded her … just watching them, petting them, talking to them lifted her spirits.

When she finished treatment, she knew she wanted to pursue a path that included horses. She did extensive research and discovered Equine Assisted Learning – a horse and human interactive process that paves the way for profound learning and growing. Training to become a facilitator was a life-changing experience for her. What began as an exercise in personal
development opened a door to extraordinary connection, hope and healing.

She is honoured and thrilled to be able to contribute to ROARR's EAL programs.
